I don't usually gauge a perfume's quality based off of compliments... I'm not always used to compliments from fragrances, but when I do get them... I don't know why, I just can't seem to get them from the classics. In this flowery scent the main note is rose but I feel a bit of jasmine as well. I usually wear it during the day and I get a lot of compliment, it smells very nice on my skin and fits my personality. Pretty much what I expected: a rich floral bouquet of which I smell mostly the lily-of-the-valley and rose facets, with some purple and white flowers mingling. It's less fresh and a little more ripe smelling to me. Feminine wedding-type scents, and this is the richest and less clean of the 3.
I can see the NR for Her reference but that one never worked for me-too much orange blossom and I found it headache inducing- in any concentration. Lasts about 4-5 hours on me, which is plenty since it's pretty linear.
This is how Wasser describes this beautiful floral perfume: "It started with a rose.
The rose was a blend of Bulgarian roses, the 2008 harvest being fruity, with overtones of raspberry and litchee.
the Rose and other floral notes, together with the musk and patchouli notes work as a 'frame' to enhance the beauty of the Jasmine, which, to me, is the star of this perfume. The rose here isn't super rosey, it's more of the idea of roses mixed with purple flowers.
If you want something different, unique, ethereal and strong at the same time, give this piece of gem a try... I get some soft fruit vibes, pears that aren't actual pears, but again, the idea of pears. It's nice, but I can't see myself reaching for it often because it's a little too safe. I prefer my scent to slowly smother me with deep, rich, dark heaviness.
However, as I have already pointed out, there exists a subtle hidden magic that predisposes the people around. And lastly came the bouquet that complemented the roses to perfection: lily-of-the-valley, lilac, peony, freesia and jasmine. And so the fragrance was born: a shower of flowers, of petals, of subtle yet incisive freshness, balanced by sensuality. And the bottle looks beautiful on my bedroom dresser.Together with Bulgari Jasmin Noir this is a perfume that shows how beautiful a Jasmine note can be...What I find beautiful about this perfume is that, to me, Jasmine is the center of everything...
